Chicago Fire Announce Strategic Merger with Plainfield Soccer Association Legends
Fire Juniors add third local affiliate with creation of Chicago Fire Juniors West
CHICAGO, IL (May 11, 2012) – The Chicago Fire Soccer Club announced Friday that the travel component of the Plainfield Soccer Association Legends will become an affiliate of the Chicago Fire Soccer Club and will be known as the Chicago Fire Juniors West. The new Chicago Fire Juniors West is one of nine clubs in the Chicago Fire Juniors family and the third in the state of Illinois. Since 2008, the Fire’s youth development program has grown from 400 participants to more than 10,000 across seven states.

U12 Girls Select are the Finalists at the Hawks Cup Tournament!
Congratulations to all of the U12 Girls Select and to coach Ryan DuBois for taking home Silver Trophy from the Hawks Cup Tournament in Oak Brook. The team advanced to the finals after outscoring their opponents 12-0. The team lost in the finals 4-2 to the Strikers. Great job girls!
U14 Boys Elite win the Championship trophy at the Nike Cup in Schaumburg!
Congratulations to the U14 Boys Elite and to Coach Bert Badertscher for winning the Nike Cup in Schaumburg! The boys defeated the CFJ Red 11 5-0 to win the Championship Title! Well done boys!
