The PSA Day Camp is intended to develop the basic skills of the recreational player.  The PSA Camp Staff has designed a curriculum that will develop the basic skills of each player, but will also challenge their abilities.  The camp will include training drills, fun activities, and small-sided games to reach the above goals.  Each group will be divided by age or by each player’s ability.  You can expect your player to learn a variety of different soccer skills and develop a further enjoyment of the game of soccer.

The curriculum includes:

 

• Dribbling techniques to help beat defenders off the dribble
• Receiving and passing techniques
• Finishing techniques through the use of a variety of games
• Activities that encourage team-building, sportsmanship, and respect for others
• Small-sided games, 3v3 and 4v4
• Street Soccer Tournament
• Exposure to all the PSA Camp Staff which includes some of the area’s top coaches and former professional players
• Fun
