The Soccer School Program

The program is designed to adhere to the mission statement of the PSA Legends program, establishing a love for the game.  The SoccerSchool is the tool to do just that.  The main focus is on each individual player.  All players will constantly be in touch with a ball and participate in technical repetition.  From the ages of 7 to 9, players can be expected to grow more confident, the clear focus of the SoccerSchool program.  All players will be encouraged and pushed to try anything at anytime.

The curriculum is constructed to make every PSA Legend the best player on the ball.  Technical repetition is a key factor to this age and will be strongly adhered to by the PSA coach for the

SoccerSchool.  Small-sided games will be the highlight for these ages as they develop into their own personal human highlight upon completion of the SoccerSchool.

The School will have two sessions per week lasting from 60 to 75 minutes.  They will play in either the NISL or the IWSL.  All teaching emphasis is created in the training environment within the

SoccerSchool program.  The game at the end of the week is the reward for their hard work during training throughout the week.  The PSA Staff coach will not place any value in the result of the match.  Instead, tremendous focus will be put on how much each individual player progresses each week.

The Soccer School Program of Study
  • Technical repetition
  • Development of foot-eye coordination, agility, balance, quickness, and body movement
  • 1v1 training
  • Coerver Method to develop creativity and fluid movements with the ball
  • Training is fun

Each player will receive a certificate of completion after their time in the SoccerSchool.  The SoccerSchool is the foundation of the PSA philosophy and its intentions are to serve any player of any ability who wants to play soccer.
