Since 1982, the Plainfield Soccer Association has been providing the opportunity for youths in the Plainfield community to have fun and develop their soccer skills through our recreational and traveling soccer programs.  PSA recognizes the importance of a quality education and provides annual college scholarships to student athletes planning to attend college.  Scholarships are issued to one male and one female athlete in the amount of $1,000 each at each of the Plainfield High Schools.  In order to be considered for a scholarship award, the students needed to write a short biography addressing their academic standing and college plans, contributions to the varsity soccer team, and contributions to the Plainfield Soccer Association (as either a player or a referee).  The winners of the scholarship are awarded during the Honors Night at their respective high school.
